It is getting colder, here is our winter clothing guide.

Temperature ranges for are just a guideline. Your body and your type of riding will change what you wear. Remember that it is always easier to take off too many clothes, than wish you had brought more with you.

40-50 degrees - Cycling shorts with thermal tights/leg warmers, long sleeve jersey, long sleeve baselayer, thermal wind jacket, winter cap, winter gloves, wool socks, and maybe booties or overshoes.
*Long sleeve jersey not needed if you are wearing a thermal jacket.

30-40 degrees - Cycling shorts with thermal tights, long sleeve jersey, thermal jacket, wool cap, winter gloves, wool socks and booties. At this temperature we also recommend winter cycling shoes such as the Specialized Defroster.

20-30 degrees - Cycling shorts with thermal bib tights, long sleeve jersey with long sleeve baselayer, thermal jacket with wool cap/balaclava, wool socks, winter gloves and booties. At this temperature we also recommend winter cycling shoes such as the Specialized Defroster.
